A great afternoon! If you're into the details spend the $5 for the audio tour. It's an easy walk and a lot to take in. We loved the lighthouse.

It's a pretty good walk through. The old Fort and batteries. Or you can just high tail it out to the light house. It was pretty windy there that day. But it was December and it waa still 8c above. Nicer than our Albertans 30 below we just had. It's a good suggestion to keep an eye on the forecast this time of year. Bring an umbrella if you can just in case. Not much help if the wind picks up tho. There is basic shelter if it get bad in the first battery area. As its a good walk back to the gate. Give your self a couple hours minimum unless you are a really good walker. The light house is close to a km from the gate. Was a very relaxing and interesting place to visit.I would have preferred to have brought a thermos of coffee for a break before heading back. But it was a good visit.

The park was super straightforward to get to by car. The grounds were beautifully kept and had tones of great historical sites to visit. The Nature Trail and Fighting from the Homefront exhibit were particularly great. Would highly recommend even for the gorgeous views and beach access.

Very interesting place for history on Canadian military life. We enjoyed the Women’s Place on the Homefront exhibit. The maps clearly show the paths around the fort and to the lighthouse. There are two floors and multiple rooms to explore in the lighthouse (stairs involved).

It’s been years since I was last here. This is a great National Historic Site. The staff a very friendly. Everything is well kept. The fort and lighthouse presentations are nicely put together. The room dedicated to women in the was honest and frank. Saw the OTentiks! What a great place to stay.

A beautiful beautiful place. Very informative and was great to learn about the war and the ammunition used at the time.

Educational and pretty. When we were there, none of the buildings were open, so that was disappointing.

Such a nice place to visit. I can't believe I have been here in Victoria for more than one year and never been to this place. Should have visited sooner. The lighthouse is a feast for the eyes and the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. A nice spot for picnics as well. The only thing to remember is that they close the premises at 4 so, going early is a good idea.

Great place to visit. The fort and lighthouse are well maintained with lots of information. Staff was friendly and cost of entry was very reasonable. Picnic tables and grassy areas are plentiful for but so were the Canadian geese. Visited at the end of March and got there just after 9 when the fort opens to get lighthouse pictures without a lot of people around. There is a lot to see and do here.
